Ready to help your little one(s) be prepared for Kindergarten? The Dumas Library, in collaboration with the Arkansas State University Childcare Aware and Local Leads program, HIPPY, and the Desha County Extension Office, is kicking off a Kindergarten Readiness program in January 2025!

The Ready, Set, Kindergarten! program will help your child learn skills to make them confident to start Kindergarten. Each child will learn numbers, letters, be introduced to early literacy skills, fine and gross motor skills, and more!

This program is open to any child between the ages of 2-5 who have not started Kindergarten. To sign-up your child for the program, fill out the form below for each child you wish to register. If you have questions, please call the Dumas Library at 870-382-5763 during business hours.
 
All programs will be on specific Thursdays from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.

*March 20 will be a parent night held at the A-State Childcare Aware office here in Dumas. More details will be in your introduction packets.

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.
