The Star City Library will offer a craft workshop for Tweens and Teens 10 and up on Tuesday, April 26, 3:45 – 5:00 pm at the library. Participants will explore basics weaving techniques with yarn and make their own DIY Mug Rug out of cool yarn, all provided by the library. Of course, tweens & teens can bring their own yarn from home, if they have something special at hand and want to use it. A project example with picture can be found on the library’s Facebook page at “Star City Branch Library”.
There will be a free coffee bar - totally appropriate for making Mug Rugs.
Participants need to sign up for the workshop and the number of participant will be limited. Call the library at 628-4711 to reserve your spot. The whole class with all materials is free.
