It's Kick-Off time! The Star City Library will start its 6-week Summer Reading Program 2022 on Thursday, June 16, at 11:30 am with a free hotdog cookout, sponsored by Connect Bank. All Summer Reading kids ages 3-12 are invited to stop by the library between 11:30 and 1:00 pm with their families and pick up a hotdog lunch pack, get their reading bags stuffed with goodies and everything kids need to participate in the 6 weeks of fun to come. Librarians will greet kids and families at the craft & activity stations and hand out “Summer Fun Packs”, the official activity and coupon book to win prizes this summer.

This event is held in-person, stop-n-go style. All activities are free! Children must be pre-registered for the Summer Reading Program. Call the library before June 10th to sign up. 

Don't forget to register for the reading challenge at the Coral Reef Reading Station during kick-off: You can win some awesome prizes for reading this summer!
