Body
The library & Star City local businesses have a special surprise planned for children in Lincoln County: For the 2nd year in a row, a community-wide trick-or-treat event will take place on Saturday, October 29, starting at 5:30 pm till candy supplies last.
All over Star City, local businesses will set up trick-or-treat stations in front of their businesses or at easy to spot locations around town.
Children and their families are invited to drive or walk around town and visit all the trick-or-treat stations to collect candy and small trinkets. The library will have a booth set up in the entrance way outside!
The town-wide spread station set up allows Halloween visitors to plan their own route. The event is held outdoors, rain or shine. It will only be cancelled, if there is severe weather and storms forecasted during the planned trick-or-treat hours.
A map with all participating businesses and their locations will be posted on social media at the Star City Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page, the Star City Library page, and Sweet Peas’ business page. A limited amount of print versions of the trick-or-treat map will also be available at Sweet Peas and the Star City Library during opening hours after October 15.
